My mom and I had a very nice lunch here while my car was getting cleaned next door. The employee who rang us up was such a sweetheart; I would want to come back again just for that reason alone! We got the Chicken Tiki Masala and the Malai Kofta. It wasn’t the most amazing Indian Food I’ve ever had, but it was quite delicious and I would get it again. Plus it was ready super fast which is always helpful if you’re in a rush.

I had the buffet here. The food was below average, except for the kheer and the chicken fry. It was pretty cheap. The place is located in the Sorrento food court. This is the only shop there that remains open till 9 pm on Saturdays, which is quite helpful.

The food is prepared with fresh Indian spices. You will love it.

Delicious food, loved the dosas. All you can eat on Saturday was very reasonably priced and delicious.

This is my wife's and my favorite Indian food place! Get their chicken curry, you'll not be disappointed. I think the only thing I can say negative about this place is I want more nan , but that really is not a bad thing.

The best and most reasonably priced authentic Indian cuisine in Sorrento Valley. Since there is no Indian in either Del Mar or Solana Beach, I often grab dinner to go on the way home from work.

Great Saturday Evening buffet. They have a small selection but really well made Indian food.

Love this place. They serve best Samosas in San Diego. Great food. Sone dishes don't taste 100% Indian. Food is always fresh and quality is consistent unlike other Indian restaurants around.

Oldie Goldie. Best Indian around in the area. Open in afternoon for chai and samosa too. Good phone order-ahead service.

Excellent fast indian food. The meals come with raita, nann, rice, and dal. Filling portions and good flavors.

Wonderful, tasty food. It's a food court though, don't expect any great ambience.

My favorite Indian place in Mira Mesa for quick Indian food. Their naan is the best!

By far the best indian place in san diego (best place I've been to in the US). Dinner Buffet is the best option, they make really good gajar ka halwa (carrot halwa), my friend could not stop eating it.

Decent place to have quick Indian food.

Food was reasonably priced, punjabi taste, spicy. We tried Saturday buffet and it was value for money. If you like spicy (on hotter side) you’ll like it. For me it was just a bit too spicy. Gajar halwa and dosa weren’t as they should’ve been but aloo tikki, roti and other stuff was good.

Literally my favorite Indian food in San Diego ever, and I’ve lived here for decades. Nothing beats their buffet, but since I’m writing this review during the quarantine, I’m writing to rave about their takeout. This eatery packs all the flavor it had when it was open for buffet but with so much love and care in its takeout. I HIGHLY recommend you try the masala dosa and tikka masala.

Extremely delicious and flavorful food! Was surprised to find something like that in a food court :)

Decent, but nothing special. Standard Indian fast food, although for a food-court restaurant, it's nice to have this as an option.

Good varietyamd tasty food Indian food. Perfect for a quick bite at lunch.

Surprisingly great Indian food, hidden in a food court of a weird little business mall, and operated by a family that are proud of making great food for a good price.A certain highlight is the Saturday evening buffet, which features fresh food, fantastic prices, and incredible flavor.

We had an excellent time in this restaurant. We loved the nice environment and the menu. The waiters are very amiable. I’m happy we finally managed to eat here.

Outstanding Indian restaurant with great quality food and amazing service. I was celebrating one of my collages birthday last week, their food surpassed my expectation. I highly recommended Sitar and will certainly be back.

Makhini chicken combo is delicious.

Very convenient place for a good lunch if you work in the UTC area - good curry combo plates, with a nice Naan bread.

A place where you can find lots vegetarian food and good for some party's, but could be a little more better taste. And the dosa is a little soggy.

Best Indian food in San Diego. It’s in a food court, so the ambience is awful, but 5 stars as a food court place. Food is as good or better than any sit down Indian restaurant I’ve been to in San Diego. Wonderful naan, and the pakora is delicious and the servings are huge (3 meals easy for me). Masala dosa is crispy and delicious too. I only wish they could make the curry hotter for me; I’ll eat food as spicy as it can get.

Was good...location was strange. It was almost like a mall food court without the mall. But food was good...we took my parents and they enjoyed it too

Amazing Indian food. A variety menu with items for both North and South India. Their samosas and chat are the best in town.

Excellent North Indian buffet. Good Indian restaurant

Probably one of the best "fast food" Indian places in San Diego. Very busy at lunch time but easily worth it. They crank out the food pretty quickly at lunch time. I see the owner here quite often and it's comforting to see him still involved.

My favorite Indian restaurant in all of Sorrento Valley! The owner/chef is so dedicated that till date he still spends time in the kitchen. This kind of premium quality is very rare to find in such a busy lunch place. Many Indian restaurants come and go but this place has been standing still for 2 decades now and will continue to for many decades to come!

My daughter and I discovered this place while waiting for my car at the Americana Car Wash. The cashier was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a counter in a food court, so plenty of seating and some outdoor seating as well.I would recommend the Malai Kofta and the Chicken Tikka Masala. They both had tons of flavor, were prepared well, and were delicious. I was impressed by the big pieces of chicken, and it really filled me up all day. We did a level 5 spice, which has a kick, but just right if you like spice. The rice was strange, sorry but it seemed artificial or something. The naan was just okay, kind of tasteless. The Pakora was good, but the main dishes were great. They have a lot more items on the menu that look worth trying too. We will be back. :)

Came here based on Yelp reviews and a craving for Indian food. Solid! All I can say is... the garlic naan. Everything else was extremely delicious, but I would definitely come back for the garlic naan.
